Before you start cruising your favorite adult sites, slap a condom on your computer – there’s a new bug in town! According to online security firm Sophos, a new viral malware is on the loose and installing itself on the computers of passing porn surfers – in fact, even Macs aren’t safe!
Targeting adult websites, this highly adaptable virus tells visitors to porn sites that they’re missing a crucial video component – a “Video ActiveX Object.” Using a popup window, the virus will ask you to download the relevant file. Once you download, you’ll feel a burning sensation when you pee. Oh, and it will have access to all your personal information stored on your computer. Both are very unpleasant.
No shot of penicillin will clear this virus from your system, so consider yourself warned!
