Sex toy store Adam & Eve asked more than 1,000 Americans to reveal how many sexual partners they’ve had, and we find the results surprising.

According to Adam & Eve’s Great American Sex Survey, 23.8% said they’d slept with between two to five partners. Of the respondents 21 percent were male and 28 percent were female.

The respondents with six to 10 partners (23.1%) consisted of 22 percent males and 24.9 percent females. Twenty-one percent of the respondents answered that they have had between 11 and 25 partners.

Thirteen percent of the female respondents and 11.7 of the males said they have had only one partner.

The smallest answer selection of the survey showed that 8.8 percent of the respondents have had more than 50 partners.
