It’s official – one of the world’s largest porn companies has obtained a copy of the now infamous Carrie Prejean sex tape and is looking to release it.

Vivid Entertainment has made the purchase legally, but even so, are hoping to get the former Miss California to sign off on it before releasing it to the public.

The solo sex tape first made its appearance a few weeks ago when Prejean and the Miss USA Pageant were in settlement negotiations. Prejean, who stated she was fired because of religious discrimination, dropped her $1 million suit as soon as the tape came to light.

Although she says making the tape was the “biggest mistake of my life,” we’re going to go ahead and disagree. In fact, this is the best thing to happen to her career. Had she won the Miss USA pageant (do you even remember the name of the girl who did?) she would have drifted off into obscurity. Just look at Vanessa Williams! What do you think?
