Ok, so it may not be the shocker of the century, but women really do like cuddling after sex. Guys, we know that you’d just rather avoid this practice (as well as the wet spot) and just go to sleep, but understanding this need may help you score some brownie points (to be used at a later time).

There’s such a thing as a “Cuddling hormone” aka oxytocin, that is responsible for pair bonding. This chemical gets released in a woman’s brain after sex. But a man’s brain works differently – after guys finish up, you get a dose of the hormone prolactin that’s makes you want to sleep. Prolactin also indicates to the male brain that this is the beginning of the “recovery time” that men have to need before having sex again (because you’re men, not machines!).

The key here is to find a happy medium – right after sex, get the QT cuddling over with before you rendered unconscious, or even better yet, and send her this article. She can’t argue with science. Well, she can, but who cares – you’ll be asleep.
